I used my newest favorite technique for the background. An embossed , colored with Copics on the debossed areas, and swiped over with Distress inks. I added a piece of Washi tape in blue to match the little bird. The bird was textured with corduroy and colorless blender with the addition of Copic Multiliners. I added a bit of clear gel pen to the feet, beak, and chocolate frosting.

So cute, Jean! Adorable image and you bring that little one to life with your coloring! Love the background...I want to try that! I thought it was designer paper!
ReplyDeleteI enjoy making my own background papers, Katrina, and this is such a fun technique. I need to play with more colors in the future. Thanks for stopping by!

ReplyDeleteThanks, Janet. It is my "current" favorite technique, until next week when something else becomes my favorite, LOL! (Actually, I do have a new one. Remind me to tell you about it!)
