Butterfly Tags Card

The most fun challenge out there, Double Trouble, added a new challenge (#3). Thing one asks us to use brown, turquoise, and coral (do check out the link above to see the exact colors). Thing two has us added ribbon, or twine. And, Double Trouble is to join in on the colors selected for the Color my Heart Color Dare #297 challenge.

Well, I think I have it all covered here (the colors really do match, in person, the original nutmeg, glacier and sorbet.)
The background was created using a Magic Foam stamp that was impressed with a pile of rubberbands. The tags were colored with Distress Oxide inks in Carved Pumpkin and Blue Lagoon. Then, the bottom tag was splattered with brown and dotted with white gel. The butterflies were cut using Paper Smooches Butterfly Duet. And, a brown ribbon and brown Nuvo Crystal Drops finished the card.

Thanks so much for the visit. I do read your comments and enjoy each one!

  2. Your rubberband foam stamp technique for your background is very pretty...like the mixture of the blue lagoon and pumpkin oxides brushed across the background. Love the embellishments, ribbon and splattering of the brown ink. I knew you would be the first to get this foam stamp technique into a project. Thanks for sharing with Double Trouble and ColorMyHeart Color Dare.
