Celebrate in Foil

Our sponsor this month is PolkaDoodles. I selected the glasses and the sentiment from the Winston Collection Digis  for the  Anything Goes twist  this week over at  Twisted Thursday.
After I chose the images, I lined them up in a Word document and printed them on a laser printer. Then, I ran it through my Minc machine using gold foil. I die cut some stars and backed the black panel on to a metallic gold panel, then on to a black card base. A glitter gold pen was added here and there for some depth to the images.

Thanks for stopping by. I love reading your comments!

A Happy Hello Card

Our sponsor this month is PolkaDoodles. I selected this fox digital stamp for the optional twist of Fur this week over at  Twisted Thursday.
I colored the image with Prismacolor colored pencils on GinaK Kraft (the same paper as the card base), fussy cut him and attached him to an embossed oval. The nose was topped with Nuvo Crystal drops in black and white. The far background is done with Distress Oxide Inks then covered with a die cut of birch trees. The sentiment comes from Paper Smooches Baby Birds, and a few sequins were added.

Polka Dot Pals Jacinda ***

I am so honored to have been selected to share one of the newest images available from Little Miss Muffet on Customer Appreciation Day. The image I colored up with my Copics is a digital stamp called Polka Dot Pals Jacinda. I sized her in Word and then, after printing, I added a sweet face using the Add-on-Faces stamps.
With her outstretched arms, I immediately thought of "so much" and had to make up a sentiment to go along. The little hearts are brads, the papers are from C.C Designs Smoochie Paper Pad, and a bit of white and clear gel pen was added to the image. The sentiment and image are popped up, and a sheer pink ribbon bow finished up the card.

Little Miss Muffet, The Corner Park

What a surprise to have been selected a second time to share one of the newest images available from Little Miss Muffet on Customer Appreciation Day. This time, I chose The Corner Park and added Sonny Honeycloud Rainy Days on top of the scene. Easy to do since these images come in PNG form as well as JPEG.
A stormy sky was my goal. I had so much fun with layering. I added clouds using Die-namics clouds dies, and I cut out a second bush from another print of The Corner Park scene to layer for some added dimension. The sentiment is from Tim Holtz Chitchat. And finally, I added a bit of white gel pen, clear gel pen, and a few clear dew drops to finish this card.

Lots of Copic Markers for this one!

Piles of Hamburgers YUM!

The Three Amigos Blog Hop Challenge for February has a challenge of Nom Nom!  Talk about an inspiring photo! Do take a look to see how this inspired me to show off my love of hamburgers, LOL!
I just love this stamp set from Your Next Stamp called Happy Meal. I have used it so many times. Gosh, I wish I could still eat hamburgers, but alas, I can only dream of them and craft with them these days! I created a mask and stacked four burgers on top of each other. Then, I colored and cut out two more. One is popped as is the sentiment.

Your Next Stamp also has a challenge blog, so I used the sketch with the tall on the opposite side. I didn't want to make purple and blue hamburgers though!

And, finally, look closely at the pretty stitching for the background paper. WeAre3 on Etsy has a great digital set called In Stitches. The very useful variety of shaped stitching is so to use, in its PNG form, and can be adjusted to fit any sized paper shape.

Thanks for stopping by, and a special thanks to all that leave comments!
