Free Hugs

I {heart} Sketches with a tWist #163 has a fun sketch to work, an optional twist of "Child's Play"., and an option of the colors gold, blue green, purple, and red. I selected the image Free Hugs and think I used all the options although I ran out of room for the bow. The image (cut with Gina Marie Dies) and banner are popped up with foam for some added dimension. The sentiment comes with the set.
I spent the morning making some foil covered, embossed, and painted background pieces. This one was painted with Tim Holtz Distress Paints in Vintage Photo. Below you can see the rest of the products I used.
Copics, Paper Smooches, Distress Inks
Last touch was to add a few enamel dots and hearts.

Thanks so much for stopping by. I love reading your comments!

  1. So sweet, Jean! Your coloring is always pretty. I love the background and the fact that the zigzags are not exactly the same.

    1. Buy your heavy duty foil at the dollar store, Janet. I'll bet you already have everything else you would need already!
