Bunny Love with Big Hugs

I {heart} Sketches with a tWist offers us a pretty sketch and a twist of watercolors and some colors to select. I used the sketch and I colored Bunny Love (still free as I post this) with Prima watercolor pencils, but I selected my own colors.
I used the Darice Oblong Doily Frame, Verso Sunflower Array Patterned Panels, and The Robin's Nest Dew Drops. I added a bit of Spectrum Noir clear sparkle. The sentiment, which comes with the set, is popped up.

Snail Mail Stickers and Card

The optional twist this week for Twisted Thursday over at The Outlawz an anything goes. Our sponsor is Bugaboo and I used the image Snail Mail. My main goal was to make some stickers to put on the back of envelopes. I colored the image first, scanned it, reduced the size, then copy and pasted it into a Word document table. I used a sheet of Stick It taped to a sheet of paper to print it. I'm certain there must be an easier way, but it worked!
I couldn't waste the original, so I made a card using it. The tiny envelope is from Stampin Up.

Free Hugs

I {heart} Sketches with a tWist #163 has a fun sketch to work, an optional twist of "Child's Play"., and an option of the colors gold, blue green, purple, and red. I selected the image Free Hugs and think I used all the options although I ran out of room for the bow. The image (cut with Gina Marie Dies) and banner are popped up with foam for some added dimension. The sentiment comes with the set.
I spent the morning making some foil covered, embossed, and painted background pieces. This one was painted with Tim Holtz Distress Paints in Vintage Photo. Below you can see the rest of the products I used.
Copics, Paper Smooches, Distress Inks
Last touch was to add a few enamel dots and hearts.

Anniversary Celebrate Card with Bugaboo Birthday Bird

The optional twist this week for Twisted Thursday over at The Outlawz is Something Old/Something Blue Wedding or Anniversary Card. Our sponsor is Bugaboo and I used Birthday Bird 04 to make an anniversary celebration card.
I won a package of markers at my Stampin Up group and couldn't wait to color using them. This set is called 2016-2018 In Color. Because of the green and blue markers, I selected turquoise blue as my main color. The "old" part is a ribbon that came with a package.
The "Celebrate" stamp is from a Tim Holtz collection and the inside sentiment comes from Hero Arts, Happy Stamp and Cut.

I used a Stampin Up Cable Knit embossing folder with the two stripes done with Distress Inks as watercolor fill in Broken China (which also edges the circle and oval). The stitched circle die comes from Gina Marie Dies and the orange dots are Nuvo Crystal Drops in Ripened Pumpkin.

In Love with Bugaboo

The optional twist this week for Twisted Thursday over at The Outlawz is to use a heart shaped Valentine. I used Ava and Deacon Love Word from this month's sponsor, Bugaboo. I used my Scan n Cut to make the heart and the pop-up inside parts. A bit of Glossy Accents makes the cover heart have a bit of dimension.

I Love You Berry Much from Paper Smooches

Having recently met the delightful Kim, of Paper Smooches, I thought I would enter the challenge. I don't have a lot of Kim's stamps yet, but will soon fix that :), so I used some of the generous freebies to do my "love" card.
The stitched hearts are from Gina Marie Designs. I added some Wink of Stella to the grapes, white gel pen, drops of clear Nuvo Drops, and a sheer ribbon.

Bunny Love

I {heart} Sketches with a tWist #161 is back also. Always fun to try a new sketch. This one has a nice diagonal piece to work into your card. I totally forgot about the twist part which was birthday cake. Maybe we can pretend that the cake is inside the card? LOL!
I selected Bunny Love as my image. As I am posting, this sweet image including sentiments are free! The diagonal die cut is from Tim Holtz called Lattice. The background is stamped with a peg stamp with the hearts, and the bunny's heart, filled in with a glitter gel pen.

The Copic colors I used were R21, W0, W1, W2, and the bunny and sentiment are edged with Distress Inks and popped up. Two red hearts were added to the sentiment for embellishment.

Hogs and Kisses Easel Card for Valentine's Day

I couldn't be happier than to say that Faith is back to From the Heart after a long illness. The Progressive Challenge is back as well and this month's image is Hogs and Kisses PigWit. So perfect for a whimsical Valentine's Day card.
I made an easel card to show off this little cutie. The sentiment and candy kisses come with the set. I also used the other sentiment and added it to the inside with room to personalize.

Bake Me a Bloobel Cake Twisted Pop-Up Card

This is the second Progressive Challenge, Facebook, hosted by Lisa of Bloobel Stamps. I just love this image, Bake Me a Cake, as it comes with all kinds of little items you could add. I decided to build a cake as I just got a new set from Newton's Nook Designs, Made From Scratch, that I thought would make the inside pop-up fun.

I followed a tutorial from Dina on Split Coast Stampers to make the Twisted Pop Up Card. I must say that it took me more than one try to grasp the last step. But, I finally got it and decided to do a video to show how it opens.
