Cardinal and Winterberry

This week for the challenge over at i {heart} card sketches w/ a tWiSt #128, I chose to use both the sketch and the twist. The twist is to use your favorite color. This time of the year, my favorite color is red.
The image is called Cardinal and Winterberry. I added some Stampendous Chunky White embossing powder to the snow and Distress Inks around the circle. The paper comes from A Very Merry Christmas from The Paper Studio. The sentiment is die cut from Maya Road.

    1. Thank you, Angela. When I first cut out the three panels, I didn't know what to do with them. Isn't it wonderful when inspiration finally hits and you know just what to add? I bought that "snow" last year and was happy to find something perfect this year to use it on :)

  4. Back East cardinals were popular in the winter season, and this reminds me of my mother...she loved cardinals. Very pretty and colorful card.
