Spectrum Noir Challenge, Using Red

I am very pleased to have become accredited as a Spectrum Noir colorist and decided to enter a little challenge with them using the color red. I LOVE red, so this was a fun one for me to do. The image is from Tiddly Inks and I added her to a card that has some hand punched edging, a wooden heart that was embossed with a glittery black as was the hearts and arrow stamp, a bit of ribbon and a few dots and a tiny bit of white gel highlighting completed this card. Spectrum Noirs are fun to color with and have a nice nib for getting into small areas. They are also kind to your pocketbook!

The Big One - Stitchy Bear

The "twist" this week, over at The Outlaws Twisted Thursday, is to use an easel card. I just completed my testing with Spectrum Noir and now am an accredited colorest for them. So, that's what I used to color this fun image, The Big One, from our sponsor, Stitchy Bear.
I die cut the circles. Tag from Sizzix with sentiment is from Stampendous. The grass is a die cut from Lawn Faun, added dots and a brad. Distress inks for edges.

Flutterby With a Doily

This week, The Outlawz group Twisted Thursday, has the usual anything goes with an optional twist of using a doily. Do stop by to see what the other design team members came up with and leave an entry of your own!

This pretty little hummingbird, called Flutterby, comes from our sponsor, Stitchy Bear. I used my Specrtrum Noirs to color the bird and my copics to airbrush the doily and diecuts. The hummingbird is fussy cut and raised with foam. I used a magenta card for a simple background. Lastly, I added the beaded center flower.

Bon Bon Bunny Valentine

Valentine's Day is right around the corner so I pulled out my new Happy Hoppers, Bon Bon Bunny from Stampendous and used my Copics (sorry, put them away before I noted the colors that I used)  to make this pop-up card.
Hearts are popped up on the inside.

Used the blending solution and fabric to add texture to the bunny.

Forever Yours from Stitchy Bear and a Dachshund Tag

This week's optional twist at The Outlawz was to do a "people" card. I chose this fun digital stamp from our sponsor, Stitchy Bear, Forever Yours. It is going to my sister-in-law for Valentine's day since she has been an ER nurse for years and we love her.

Center step fold, die cuts edged with Distress Ink in walnut, sentiment is embossed.

Watering Can From Sandi Huggett

The Outlawz have a Progressive Freebie Challenge going on. It's not too late to join and get the free monthly digital image. I love this watering can from Sandi Huggett this month. I used the template from Mojo Monday and had some fun with embossing folders, die cuts, a button, and a brad (the small red heart). I added some Wink of Stella to the flowers and hearts.
